FAQ's

1. Do I need to reserve dive gear in advance?
Dockside does have a good supply of rental equipment, and most times there is no problem with renting gear when you arrive. However, occasionally we do get 'sold out', so we do recommend advance notice, especially around holiday weeks. [ Back to Top ]

2. What brands of gear do you rent?
We currently offer a combination of ScubaPro and Sherwood rental gear. All our gear is serviced multiple times annually, cleaned and inspected after every rental

3. I'm planning to rent gear from you. Do you recommend using a dive computer?
.At CoCo View, most divers come for maximum bottom time. This usually means at least 3-4 dives per day. With our easily-accessible shore diving, many guests log 5-6 daily. With that kind of profile, it is almost impossible to do using tables. YES, we recommend each diver should dive with their own dive computer - don't share computers! [ Back to Top ]

4. I would like to take a course while I'm on vacation. What is your course schedule?
We do not offer a set schedule for any of our courses. All courses are scheduled on a first-come first-serve basis, so on busy weeks it is advisable to reserve in advance. Our class sizes are very small, and often end up being a private course for you and your party. This allows us to be very flexible in scheduling, working around your vacation and diving routine, and also offering very personalized, relaxed instruction with experienced PADI instructors.
