Discover Scuba Diving |
Experience the thrill of scuba diving without taking the full course. After a brief orientation, you participate in a skills practice session where an instructor teaches the skills necessary for diving safety and comfort. Then you go on an actual fun, fish-filled scuba dive with your instructor.
Included: all equipment, instructor-guided shore dive.
Time: 2-3 hours. * Additional shore dives may be made under the direct supervision of an instructor at a cost of $30.00 per dive, including equipment.. CoCo View boat dives with an instructor cost $55.00

| Open Water Referral |
Perfect for students who have completed their class and pool training prior to their arrival at CoCo View. Students must bring a Student Referral Form, provided by their initial instructor, and a copy of their medical statement. Students may provide their own equipment, or may rent equipment from Dockside at a 50% discount during their stay.
Included: 4 Open Water Dives, certification fees.

For those who want full open water certification. The Open Water course is structured so students progress according to their individual ability. | Scuba Refresher |
Ideal for certified divers who have not been diving in 12 months or more. Basic diving theory and dive table usage will be reviewed. Basic diving skills, focusing on buoyancy control, will be reviewed during one open water dive with an instructor. Included: 1 instructor guided dive.

For certified divers who want to sample some of diving's most popular specialties and/or expand their diving skills. The course consists of five dives: underwater navigation and deep diving, plus a choice of three from boat diving, multilevel diving, search and recovery, peak performance buoyancy, underwater naturalist, underwater photography, reef fish ID or wreck diving. Included: All training materials (not including dive lights or camera rental) and certification costs, 5 dives with an instructor.

| Rescue Diver |
Great for Advanced divers who want to expand their diving skills and learn to assist others. This course teaches you to recognize and prevent potential diving accidents before they occur, and how to handle them if they do. Enjoyable or fun might seem unlikely descriptions for this program - but that's how most certified Rescue Divers describe this course! Participants need to have been certified in CPR (within the last 24 months). The PADI Emergency First Response course meets this requirement. You need to purchase the Rescue Diver manual, read it, and complete all the knowledge reviews prior to arriving on island.

| Discover Enriched Air (Nitrox) |
A good opportunity to learn about and experience the benefits of diving with Enriched Air. When you have successfully completed the Discover Enriched Air course, you will be certified to dive under supervision on Nitrox mixtures with up to 32% oxygen. Included: Manual, instruction, 1 certification dive including Nitrox tank fee, and certification fees. Time: 1/2 day. |

Perfect for divers who want to maximize their ‘down' time. Due to the lower percentage of nitrogen in enriched air, your body absorbs less nitrogen during the dive, allowing you to stay underwater longer, and head back underwater sooner.
